CLASS DESCRIPTIONS :
Hatha Flow : This challenging and invigorating form of yoga focuses on linking the breath with every movement to create the dance of Prana (energy) within the body - energizing you throughout your day.
Hatha Basics : This class we will practice basic yoga postures including standing to seated and floor asanas. Suited for beginners as well as regular practitioners. We may also tap into more challenging poses as the class progresses.
Yoga101: This class is suggested as an introduction to all those new to the practice of yoga. We will present general information about yoga and review safety issues, proper body positioning and instruction in the use of props. Pre-registration required.
Yoga Core : In this class we utilize yoga postures and pilates exercises which are geared toward strengthening the abdominals, back and hips region. Challenging yet suitable for all levels to enhance their yoga practice.
Ease Into Yoga Monday : A gentle practice of the postures suited for all beginners as well as those who prefer an easier style of practice to start off their week.
Relax & Renew : This class will de-stress and gets you ready for your weekend. We use gentle practice inspired by Yin style yoga to encourage long holds, focus on breathing practice & finish with a short Relaxation/Meditation segment.
NAAM Yoga & Fitness: This class is taught by Dr. Christina Papers who has brought Naam Yoga to our studio & Shana Daniels. The class alternates between Yoga & Meditation and Fitness & Strength Training. Shana who currently conducts her life/body makeover (Diva program) with us & will include a series of exercises in her class as well as Naam Yoga. This is an ongoing class which could be taken individually. Studio members can enjoy this class as part of their membership. See Special Event flyer for more information.
Yoga Play : This is a great class for parents to introduce kids to yoga. We'll engage in beautiful play to create stronger and more balanced bodies & minds. We will develop discipline to cultivate love, peace, and self-esteem. This class is offered throughout the Summer. Please check the web site for future dates/times. Pre-Natal Yoga : This class uses breath and body work to facilitate childbirth. Expectant mothers will cultivate a sense of peacefulness and release. Offered as individual packets. Day, time and fees adjusted according to class size. Call for details.
Pilates
& More : Participants will enjoy aerobic
type movements for cardiovascular benefits, followed by Mat Pilates.
(Pilates with reformer sessions will also be offered on
a private, one-on-one basis. Please inquire for more details.)
Pilateyoga Fusion : This class is a fusion of mat Pilate's repertoire to invigorate and tone the core, arms & legs combined with yoga stretches to lengthen and add flexibility to the entire body.
Zumba : Zumba® is fun...it's the type of exercise you'll want to do everyday and feel good about doing it! It's different. You probably never thought you'd be exercising to this type of music. It's effective. It is an aerobic workout, which we all know works. But it's more fun, which will make you stick with the program until you get results. This is an ongoing class which could be taken individually. Studio members can enjoy this class as a part of their membership.
Body Life Makeover : This is a class offered as a 12-week series for a separate fee. See Flyer for more details and the next series schedule.
Kundalini
Yoga : This is a class offered every first

: In this
